From 23 October 2015, Shops Konsumo providers must identify their products with GS1 Bar Codes and share your information in the E-Catalog Syncfonía. Both standards are international in scope, thanks to GS1 has a presence in stores and retail chains in 150 countries.

Steps to purchase your membership at GS1 Bar Code

• - Contact GS1 Mexico and become a member.
• - Take the training course Barcode.
• - Assign bar codes to your products and your secondary packaging.
• - If your products already have standardized identification, you need to check the authenticity and validity of the codes you use, so you must go to GS1 Mexico to perform that process and will deliver a validation letter. With it you can corroborate the legitimacy and integrity of your Barcode. Avoid fakes.
