Privacy Notice

GS1 Mexico states that personal data of Associate / Users will be treated lawfully, at all times observing the principles of consent, information, quality, end, loyalty, proportionality and accountability, pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals (hereafter, the "Act").

Also it makes you that the personal data of Associate / Users will be used for the sole purpose of maintaining the relationship established with GS1 Mexico, management, administration, benefit, expansion and improvement of services provided GS1 Mexico or use the adequacy of those services to their own interests as Associate / Users, the design of new services related to those already offered by GS1 Mexico, sending updates of services, shipping by traditional and / or electronic technical information, operational and commercial information about products and services offered by GS1 MEXICO and / or related parties. Mexico will inform the Associate / Users, within a period of 3 (three) business days, counted from the date it receives the request, determining adopted, and if the same result from, will be effective within 2 (of) working days of the date their origin to communicate. GS1 Mexico makes knowledge of Associate / Users that have adopted security measures to protect personal data legally required, and endeavor to install other technical means and measures available to prevent loss, misuse, disturbance, unauthorized access or theft of personal data from Associate / User provided to it. Notwithstanding the foregoing, and because security measures may be susceptible to violations by events beyond the control of GS1 Mexico; it undertakes to inform Associate / Users in case there are violations of their security measures, so that Associates / Users can take appropriate action to defend their rights.

GS1 Mexico agrees to cancel the personal data of Associate / users when they are no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.

GS1 Mexico reserves the right to amend this Notice to adapt to new legislation or jurisprudence, as well as practices and customs. In such cases, GS1 Mexico announced on its website changes introduced with reasonable advance to its implementation and will inform the Associate / Users.
